The Bellezza E61 brew group helps maintain stable temperature, while the PID control lets you fine tune when you want to and step back when you do not. The heat exchanger system allows brewing and steaming at the same time, keeping your workflow smooth and uninterrupted.

Shot timer:
The shot timer is integrated directly into the digital PID display on the front of the machine. Here is exactly how it works when you pull a shot:
1. The Idle State When the machine is heated up and sitting idle, the digital display shows the current boiler temperature (allowing you to monitor thermal stability).
2. Automatic Activation The moment you lift the manual E61 group head lever (the paddle control) to start your extraction, the internal microswitch triggers the PID display to instantly switch modes. It automatically changes from a temperature readout to a shot timer counting up in seconds (1, 2, 3…).
3. Hands-Free Tracking You don’t need to press any extra buttons or start a separate stopwatch. The timer will continue to count for as long as water is flowing through the group head, allowing you to perfectly visual-match your desired extraction time (typically between 25 to 30 seconds for a standard espresso).
4. Automatic Reset Once you push the lever back down to stop the shot, the timer stops. The display will briefly freeze on your final extraction time so you can read it, and then it automatically resets and reverts back to showing the boiler temperature, ready for your next shot.It is a completely seamless, hands-free feature designed to help you maintain consistency without cluttering your beautiful chrome workstation!
